For mobile phone client applications for Lemmy, I generally prefer using Boost for Lemmy and Summit for Lemmy.
The Boost app is proprietary, as it offers an ad-free version available for a small fee. The Boost Lemmy client app features a Material You color theme that aligns closely with Material Design guidelines. Additionally, I find the rocket icon particularly appealing.
I particularly appreciate the Summit app because it makes it convenient to capture screenshots or photos of posts directly within the app, without needing to rely on the phone’s built-in screenshot functionality.
I was using Sync but it’s not had updates in a long time and some things don’t work. So now I’m on Voyager.
Mlem. I found out about it from join-lemmy.org
Mobile apps alternatives to websites should die a very painful death and be consigned to the darkest pit of hell…
Oh, dear. It’s Kalvin. Did your trolling phase end? Weren’t you shitting on Lemmy a few weeks ago?
mlmym on my powerful phone, boost on my low end phone. mlmym is better to use but it’s too heavy since its a webapp.
it’s trivial to remove ads and tracker from the boost app but it’s still proprietary.
Was this “written” by ChatGPT?
No. I used a different kind of AI. It’s called “Goblin Tools.” I’m not sure what the main LLM that Goblin Tools is based on—ChatGPT, Llama, or DeepSeek—I still wonder. Let me know if you find out.
But why? And is this reply also written by an LLM?
Goblin Tools has many options like Magic ToDo, Formalizer, Judge, Professor, and more. You didn’t know which LLM Goblin Tools uses? Maybe I can try to email the support team of Goblin Tools and ask them directly which LLM Goblin Tools uses. I’ll let you know if I find out.
What the fuck. This is ridiculous.
Black mirror shit
Wtf
JFC
Bannable offense IMO.
Honestly, I don’t know the Java programming language. Currently, I’m learning the most basic one—an introduction to programming—using C++ as the introductory language.
Voyager. Most similar to RiF (RIP.) Hopefully they add Piefed compatibility soon as my I’m mostly using the PieFed PWA these days. Interstellar may get good enough soon but at present it’s really jumpy when scrolling on my phone…
Eternity ,multifunctional client as infinity was for reddit
Voyager because it works really well. Has the ability to easily filter words instances and users and such. Easy and simple to use. Its like boost but FOSS and added features (I used to use boost a long time ago for Reddit)
Connect. I just like it. I tried all of the other apps available during the API exodus and settled on Connect. Functions most similarly to how I had Reddit is Fun set up.
Voyager is the only app that I use for Lemmy. It’s a simple and straightforward interface, and I like the “User Tags” feature :)
Otherwise I just use the browser.
None actually, it’s good enough on the browser I think. Which is definitely not something I can say about Reddit these days. (I still use it through a browser, and without an account, but it’s a major PITA.)
I like Jerboa. It simply does what it’s supposed to do, with easy to manage menus.
Summit!
I like Voyager. It’s FOSS, has all the features, and feels nice to use.
