The myth of the “sexless, companion escort” is just a way to sugarcoat/sanitize sex work. It’s also a bit of a dangerous myth to propagate because impressionable people hear it and are like: I’m gonna do this cause it’s easy money and I don’t even have to sleep with anybody - which is just not true in 99% of the cases.
