      Huh? I live on my own and cook for myself and have for 10 years. I’ve never had any drainage issues either. Maybe in the shower due to hair, but never in the kitchen. I’ve just literally never heard of this, ever, my parents definitely never did this back in my home country, nor have I ever seen anyone do this in any of the countries I’ve been to or the one I currently live in.

      Doing some surface level research it seems like primarily an American thing. As long as you’re not pouring litres of pure grease down the drain it should be ok to just wash down what naturally comes off pans etc. as you wash them, especially mixed with cleaning liquid.

      What is “lucky 10g”?
