I fucking hate Heisenbergs!
Hrm, weird reproducible bug. Ok let’s hook up the ol’ debugger and… Where did the bug go? Shiiiiiiit.

I had to take a physics exam in a room with these desks. The exam was on that super long paper too. After tearing off the formula sheet and setting that on your lap, trying to work out the problems and keep all your stuff organized was impossible. After hearing the 3rd calculator fall on the floor less than 2 minutes into the exam I just had to laugh out loud at the absurdity of the whole situation.
Well, picturing that all I can say is: relevant username.
Thanks for seeing my post for what it really is.
France is bacon.
It’s also the fallacy of tolerance. Hard to care about someone dying who in turn would casually reject care for those who were suffering and dying.
I have a couple of Logitech Mx Master 3S mice I use. One really nice feature is that you can ‘unlock’ the mouse scroll wheel so that there’s no resistance. Just spin it fast and it’ll keep scrolling for quite a long time.
Actually this most recent version will do click scrolling when the wheel is spun at low speeds, but unlock and let the wheel fly when spun faster. Really great feature.
I know it’s also not what you were asking about, but I don’t know of that feature in Linux.
When talking about CEOs quitting and getting their golden parachute, I always imagine them walking out of a skyscraper’s open window and casually engaging the parachute and casually drifting away.
You’d be surprised how much food an urban homestead can produce. And no, one person isn’t going to feed everybody on food stamps but like many things, if enough people start doing it then it becomes part of the culture. Imagine if houses had a little homestead instead of a grass lawn, especially in the front. Whole changes in culture could occur. For example, one of the best things about Halloween in my opinion is that the whole neighbourhood comes alive with people out and about. If people spent more time in their front yards doing gardening (and not noisy polluting lawn mowing) there’s be more interactions between people and places would feel more alive and safer. </rant>
I can recall seeing pretty much every since Far Side, but I don’t recall this one.
Same thing with post titles on 🤮reddit.
One line scripts are usually ok fir chatgpt to produce but I don’t use it for anything larger anymore. I tried using it for programming, but found I couldn’t expand or maintain what it produced very easily and would save time by just doing it myself in the first place. Sometimes it’ll give me library suggestions that I hadn’t known about. Overall it’s been a slightly positive influence once you learn what it’s capable of and don’t believe that it’s just magic.
No, I think his leg got blown off.
Stay away from the summoner!
It’s been pretty awesome here in Calgary. Was getting worried there that ski season was going to be delayed. But I love a good snow dump to start winter. It sucks when it’s cold and icy but no snow to cover things up.
Probably sucks for anyone that has to commute right now though.
N64 adventure games (except Mario). They were just janky messes with horrible frame rage camera issues, target hitting issues and weird looking environments. Looking at you Castlevania, but I can’t think of any others that I would want to play again either.
Except it’s a title. Every word is capitalized except ‘a’ ‘the’ ‘of’ and ‘is’.
That title reads as though Aubrey Plaza died.
I misread the title as “Cover your taxes” and got really excited to earn about tax avoidance tips. Legal ones obviously.
