Yep. Every kernel update. Granted that’s less often than Windows requires a reboot.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think 11 is pretty great from a technical standpoint. The only real issue I have is modern standby…I miss having laptops that actually go to sleep and aren’t dead a day later. But that’s a fight I’ve given up on.
Now…the ads, MS accounts requirements, tracking and telemetry, the pre-installed bloat like News (a glorified clickbait aggregator), Movies and TV, Office, etc. make what is technically fine into a garbage experience.
Angel of death in my ass
Probably Iceland. No one bothers them and they don’t bother anyone. Doesn’t get hot, fjords and geysers to look at, puffins, bubble hotels, cool metal scene.
Same. If I could skip the initial dating thing and just have an instant SO that I hang out with and enjoy, I’d be pretty happy. But I’m not good at meeting new people. Plus, after enough failed dates, it gets difficult to justify dumping more time into it. It’s so mentally taxing to find someone, get to know them, meet them (and deal with the amount of anxiety that goes into that whole ordeal), it probably doesn’t work out, repeat and try again. So I just hang out with my cat instead.
Hopefully this means Ubuntu will have good support for the X1 Elite…that’d be pretty sweet. Then all that sweet code can trickle down to the other distros.
I quit Facebook/Insta long ago but started perma deleting stagnant accounts a little after Cambridge Analytic stuff I think? It was my first real eye-opening moment when it came to data privacy and the whole misinformation cesspool that is social media.
Reddit when 3rd party apps were dropped.
Twitter partly when Musk killed 3rd party apps…then fully when he became a shithead.
Snapchat mostly because it annoyed me.
Never used TikTok other than viewing a video someone sent me in a web browser.
Bonus because I’m still salty: Prime when they introduced ads in Prime Video.
