Cut and sew doesn’t necessarily mean tailoring. Plenty of trades at the sewing machine. I make custom canvas and upholstery for boats among other things. Maybe they’re busy or maybe not, but a lot of people are shocked when they find out I work year round and have a long waiting list.
And yes, I have an art degree lol
