Seems like what Dominique Pelicot considered his wife to be. Not an example I am willing to follow, I’ll tell you that.

I used to play Tetrinet or Blocktrix as it was later called. Man, I miss that game, but last I checked the servers were all empty :(
He technically didn’t brainwash them into setting him free. He convinced the pirates to double his ransom and to let him walk free around the camp, where he often and loudly told them that he would come back and have them all killed, once his ransom was paid and they let him go. Then he did exactly that.
I don’t really like Gnome as I like to tinker with everything, so I use KDE. I also have a laptop with Cinnamon, which is also pretty good.
I picked up Dave the diver + dlc for something around 18€. Have been playing it all day and can highly recommend it.
This is literally a conversation I have had with a specific friend several times this year.
Just beat it
Having done remote support in the past, there is often a delay and especially with scrolling it is difficult to control, so I always ended up doing the side bar thing as well.
Control panel is also a quirky one, because it is sorted alphabetically from left to right and then from top to bottom in the display language. So the control panel items are very often in a different place because Microsoft.
I did learn most of the control panel shortcuts because of that though, which still comes in handy sometimes. I even had a printed out cheat sheet for it.
The song is called “The ecstasy of gold” but the movie is “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. Still, that was an impressive description.
Edit: Seems my memory failed me and it’s not the ecstasy of gold, as others have pointed out.
My personal favorite will probably always remain the Mass effect trilogy.
When you click on “What!?” it’s the same text but capitalized.
The dresscode never changes when you work from home. Although when a video call is necessary, it requires a 50% change.
I have been watching Newsradio after seeing a very funny clip, which has Joe Rogan as the IT/maintenance guy. He’s not very funny, but I was surprised it was the same guy as I had only ever heard of him as a podcaster.
Lemmy: very human to use.
I agree it was the best in the series. I never quite enjoyed the later gta games as much as the unbridled fun of gta 2.
I once did something like that to myself. Not satisfied with the tame spiciness of jalapenos on pizza, I decided to put a bhut jolokia (aka ghost pepper) on one. That was a profoundly dumb idea.
I was blinded by the need for spice and suffered twice.
I think we decided to play 3 more rounds and then count the points, as the game was still gonna go on for at least another hour otherwise.
That reminds me of the Amadeus bar in Leuven. The owner was notoriously grumpy and curt. I sometimes went there as a student to play board games. One time he seemed very interested as we were playing, as he was looking at the board. We asked him if he wanted to play with and he just went “No, I’m wondering how much longer this game will take so I can kick you out and close.”
Not sure if it’s still open.
That’s Sidney Sweeney, btw. You’re welcome.
