There are guides out there to do it or you can just buy one that’s already been flashed to bypass DRM. I bought one 5 or 6 years ago to do it and quit after maybe 10 Blu-rays because it takes forever if you want to compress via handbrake and it’s much easier just to torrent directly unless it’s something obscure.

AFAIK x265 encoder support has always been flaky with AMD GPUs. I used to get constant stuttering when trying to playback HEVC files with my old RX570 before switching to a 1080TI. I think Nvidia or Intel is your best bet for this.

I get them frequently around this time of year and found that making myself as cold as possible is the only thing that helps. I usually use an ice pack, water, and a fan first (with my head buried in a pillow to block out any sound) and if that’s not enough, I’ll go sit outside on the porch in a tshirt until I cool off and it goes away. It’s super weird but it works.

I just started using soulseek and it seems to be a lot better than what I could source through lidarr as I’m not in any music-heavy private trackers like RED and the public ones only maybe have top-40 type artists available.

Now I wish I could integrate the two because I hate having to do everything manually again along with needing to run everything through MusicBrainz Picard so that it’s all tagged correctly.
