Holy koolaid Batman
Holy koolaid Batman
I think the general absurdity of it, plus you’re never quite sure where they’re gonna go.
For example:
It’s part of the appeal
Fun fact: your left eye doesn’t go only to your right brain. The left half of your field of vision in your left eye goes to your right brain. Same with the right half of your left eye, and your right eye is split up similarly. How nuts is that?
He meant saying that non-verbally
We got some weirdos in the comments
This is hilarious
You can get Gboard on an iPhone… it isn’t the same but the autocorrect is less heavy-handed.
Speaking of which, if you ever try swipe typing on the default iOS keyboard, try swiping “purple woman”. Probably comes out fine. Then try “black woman” or any color that could be a skin tone and I bet it won’t come out right. Mine used to change the first word retroactively which was… bad. So for example “black woman” would become “blank woman”, “block woman”, “Bosch woman”, etc.
They seem to have fixed it somewhat but now it always capitalizes Woman for me and refuses to act normal. Just a fun tidbit.
I wish there was something solid like the zen phone 9 when I was looking to buy a new phone. I went with the iPhone 13 pro hoping it would last me at least 5 years, since Apple tends to be pretty good about their software longevity. I like android but I wasn’t about to switch to a Samsung because I just don’t like the weird “look we made our own app, now you have two browsers!”
Really? That’s kind of neat. I will say, iphones feel really nice to use, with the haptics and also general fluid animations. That is, assuming you do “basic phone things”, because as soon as you try and do complex things you need many more taps per action and sometimes the animated delay gets in the way.
The number line is very cool. I do miss that, as well as long-pressing any key to get the character located “behind” it.
Wow… I never thought of the Magic Mouse thing, yet you’re entirely correct. Everyone would use it like that, and honestly it does look better without being plugged in (although everything else about it sucks, I hate that damn mouse)
What part? Genuinely curious as I enjoy both. Only thing I actively despise is the inability to natively use manual focus
Personally I like the bounce, the stretch on my android always felt anticlimactic
It comes with Arch!
Fixed :) I need to remember to use “they” on here
god DAMMIT SHE JUST WON’T STOP
Would that not just be… jeans?
Very much so. It has me yearning for spring already
A lot of women I know who aren’t the typical “gamer” type really enjoy Stardew Valley. It’s a little farming game where you live in a town, foster relationships with the townspeople, and generally go about small town life. Very cute game, especially fun with friends.
Also Minecraft, it’s very open ended and there are many ways to play it.
As for how to start, an affordable laptop will run both of these fairly well, if you want Nintendo games you’ll probably have to get a Nintendo Switch.
Definitely make a Steam account though, you’ll find pretty much all the games you could want in one place there (Minecraft is separate).
