The tallest you could be is 6’2" and those guys would be centers. Why should men not be able to play professional basketball simply because they are not freakishly tall? There are all kinds of men out there that are as good as Jordan, Johnson, Bird, LeBron, Curry, Kobe, etc.
Why isn’t there a racing league with speed limits?
Why are there no horse racing leagues where the minimum jockey weight is 150Kg? Why should men or women not be able to participate in professional horse racing just because they’re generously proportioned?
I think horses can only withstand so much weight on them and they run faster with a smaller person. There is that.
This is why I argue that the height of the rim should be based on the average height of the competing teams.
That would probably result in teams that have the shortest players possible (to lower the rim), and 1 or 2 tall players to exploit that.
