minus-squareEnceladus [She/Hir]@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up0·1 month agoI’m confused, is this a joke about the person being trans and not having their testicles removed yet or did I totally read this wrong?
minus-square46_and_2@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·edit-21 month agoIt’s a joke that the long-haired person might be trans and had their testicles removed previously. I’m not sure that was the original joke, but works quite well.
minus-squareNatanox@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month agoPretty sure it’s originally meant to be a joke about all their pets.
minus-squareCaptnNMorgan@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·1 month agoWouldn’t she have said “their” instead of “his” if that was the case
minus-squareNatanox@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up0·1 month agoShe’s talking about him in that sentence and is referencing something owned by only him and not the whole group, so “his” is correct. Unless you think testicles are family property, of course. Then grammar would somewhat become a free-for-all here which only teachers would survive.
minus-squareRobust Mirror@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up0·1 month agoNo, they’re saying the speaker is trans.
minus-squareCyanideShotInjection@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·1 month agoActually this is the interpretation I got lol
minus-squareandros_rex@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up0·1 month agoI read it as she just had an orchi lol
