Maybe the vision of the particular freezer I’m using splattered in gooey cola tar is enough reminder, but with a different freezer, the trauma is no longer with it.
This works, as long as you act on hearing the alarm immediately. Do not just turn it off and think “I’ll do it in a minute”.
One can of pop exploding in there was enough to traumatize me into never forgetting again.
I’ve been traumatized into “never forgetting again” two or three times now.
