Nah but rubber bands are effective

Nowhere but oakwood would have that kind of affluenza except maybe springboro (at least within the Dayton area)
Fun fact, in his hometown of Dayton he’s banned from most bars
What no this is more of a “American communism is a longstanding tradition and it’s foolishness to brush us off as purely a capitalistic nation.”
The first step will be for more and more of tech management to actually confront their misogyny. And not just the obvious stuff like this, but also subtle stuff like how women’s professional performances are often seen as worse when not blinded.
Yeah i didn’t partake starting when as a teenager I saw Germans on thr internet expressing concern about it. Nobody said anything it was my right as an American not to pledge my allegiance to America.
It’s ok the pledge was written by a communist, but a home grown American communist
Yeah, as a married lesbian linux user the joke is gross and reminds me why so often tech related spaces are so male dominated
looks at comment section yep you’re right, ew
There’s probably a crusader saint. Oh st Joan of Arc. Sure she was sanctified for martyrdom (only catholic saint to be martyred by the catholic church yet), but she did do a war as part of her miracles
Instructions unclear sat down and did my taxes instead of getting energy
Nope. I’d love some community but most people move every year or two here
Yeah, the whole of the Haymarket affair is fascinating. It was a quick blurb in my history classes in school, but the rest of the world celebrates labor day on its anniversary.
Lucy Parsons is definitely the most interesting person involved. A freewoman who married a former confederate soldier (who would die for his role at Haymarket) and became a militant activist for anarchism and communism. She was a voice for returning fire on the rich and given her life story even liberals find it hard to blame her for it
Yep, I’m reminded of Nina van Zandt Spies an heiress who gave it up to marry one of the haymarket martyrs. Sure of the Haymarket widows she’s no Lucy Parsons, but America couldn’t handle the one of her, much less a second.
We don’t have a great many stories of people betraying the upper class for the lower, but all who do are welcome among us far more than those who betray our class for the upper are among them.
Yeah our wait times are like your free ones, but with higher prices than your paid ones
Oh veterans are fucked here too. Imagine the nhs but worse, now imagine you had to join the us military to get it
When I was 23 I spent multiple weekends driving to a different city to talk to older women (60s) about their lives and shared community
Yeah, meanwhile I’ve used bolt cutters more than most people (anarchism got me doing bicycle repair and salvaging which involves them front time to time), and they work by leveraging the stiffness. They aren’t actually sharp, they’re just dull scissors with a fuck ton of leverage
