      And you are spam creating multiple accounts, doing a call out, and deleting your account. This shit has been going on for weeks. I dunno what your bizarre obsession is with creating an account for that explicit comment only to delete it.

      So what’s your point? That I don’t scour the depths of every single community and then cross check what has been posted with what I’ve already got posted?

      Shit happens and reposts occasionally happen. Jesus. I do plan on deleting the post but because it is a repost against my own rules and you’ve made me aware of that. Would really like you to tone back the high level and unnecessary self righteousness though from someone who can’t even keep a single account going.

      I was going to say that it’s not nearly as much of a problem on lemmy with the lower user count and lack of allocated per-account karma (karma is only per post/comment), but less than a month apart is silly.

      It’s Stamets. C’mon now. There’s a lot more you should recognize their account from than just “reposter”. They’re a mod of many of the Star Trek based communities and one of the most active posters on Lemmy. Seems to be a stand up person but can let their righteous fury get the better of them at times.

      Lemmy is small enough that the community can legitimately self manage this sort of stuff, and we probably need the content anyway. Downvote. Block if you feel the need to. Lemmy is small enough that curating via blocking users is still very effective.

      Lemmy doesn’t seem to be in any danger of growing influencers yet, and again: karma isn’t a thing that collects on accounts like it does on reddit. Karma farming isn’t possible here.

          I’m gonna delete this post because I wasn’t aware it was posted recently but I’m not gonna lie, this comment annoys the hell out of me. I’m not on lemmy 24/7. No one is. Humans gotta sleep at the very least and I’m dealing with my own stressful nightmare of a life at the moment. I’m not gonna see every post. Saying “You can do better” implies I was sitting there waiting for this post to time out so I could post it again.

          I’ve got a shitload of comics saved. Some of em are ones other people have posted in the past and, occasionally, I’ve posted it too and didn’t mark it as posted. But I’m not out here looking through every single post ahead of time to manage what I can and cannot post. Sometimes shits just gonna happen.

              Sorry, I’m stressed the fuck out about a few things at the moment and I get this type of stuff without irony or sarcasm surprisingly frequently. Hard to recognize what is and isn’t anymore.

    yeah i guess most people never even thought about how jesus would have been black back then. most modern depictions of him are white for some reason. funny how that works
