    Looks like the Brits were trying to follow a recipe for poutine, but transcribed it as “peas” instead of “cheese”.

      People in here loving poutine, but you swap cheese chunks in your gravy for a vegetable and it’s suddenly disgusting? The North American palate is weird.

        Cheese is better than every vegetable. Especially melted cheese. That’s certainly not an unpopular opinion or a weird take.

        Peas + gravy is a weird palate mate, there’s a reason you can only find it in 1 place.
