basically the only half drink - half foods i respect are stews, because those have enough food to chew normally, and the soup part is basically like a lot of sauce

90% of the time it’s willful ignorance. That or (assuming you’re in the US) not having the means to pay for treatment, so it’s easier to not get a diagnosis in the first place.

We go to boba tea shops several times a week. I just order them without boba. It’s just a smooth tasty drink.
The tapioca…I weirdly like it. Except I choke on it. I love the tea itself. I don’t love choking on it, but I forget the tapioca is in there half the time.
You can always get the drinks without boba in it if you like
