Avatar The Last Airbender. I’m in my early 30s and do a rewatch almost every year.
Reboot
It may not be the answer I gave at the time, but it’s the best balance now of “liked it as a kid” and “like it as an adult”
I’m terrified of rewatching it and it not living up to my nostalgia.
A documentary was released on the show last month. During production they were given the original master tapes for the show and have been slowly releasing all of the episodes in glorious 4k for free on YouTube. Check them out - they hold up to nostalgia better than you’d expect.
Make sure you check out the documentary that was released last month on YouTube! It’s called ReBoot Rewind.
Alphanumeric!
Professor Kitzel.
Robotech
Saber Rider and the star sherrifs
Galaxy rangers
Mighty Orbots, just for the theme song alone. Now that I think about it I will have that song stuck in my head all day.
Starblazers
Dexter’s Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, Power Puff Girls
Wren and Stimpy?
They were too weird for me in my early teens, I first got them years later.
Underdog, Batfink and Karate, Rocky and Bullwinkle
Batfink was a favorite of mine too! First time I’ve seen it mentioned out in the wild.
I loved Rocky & Bullwinkle! Before my time but we had so many VHSes.
Basically any fantasy cartoon that featured a voyage or some kind of quest was a favorite when I was little.
- The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Pirates of Dark Water
- Conan the Adventurer
Dungeons & Dragons is such a classic. I still watch it on occasion.
Pirates of Dark Water was such an underrated show. It still makes me mad that it got canceled.
The opening theme to Tintin is playing in my head right now. What a beautiful cartoon.
Starblazers
Robotech
Battle of the Planets
Dinosaucers
Space Pirate Captain Harlock
Static Shock, Kim Possible, Darkwing Duck

Pinky and the Brain.
Although now as a middle aged man, Bluey.
Bluey is GOAT level.
Tiny Toon Adventures, then Animaniacs.
Kinda giving away my age, but Animaniacs was right around the time I just started appreciating characters such as Minerva Mink and Hello Nurse.
